Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) Training for BHUSD Staff

Monday, April 2nd was a pupil-free day at BHUSD, but teachers, administrators and staff members were hard at work!  Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) Day sessions included:

  • Active Shooter Training from the Beverly Hills Police Department
  • CPR Training from Beverly Hills CPR
  • First Aid and Fire Extinguisher Training from the Beverly Hills Fire Department
  • Emergency Preparedness Training from the Beverly Hills Office of Emergency Management, Resilience and Recovery
DART Day training is held every two years and is funded by grants through the City of Beverly Hills and the State of California.

Fariba Rabbanifar and Evelyna Simmons from Beverly Hills High School were among more than 300 Beverly Hills Unified School District staff members to receive training from Beverly Hills CPR as part of Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) Day.
