BHUSD offers expanded after-school opportunities for students. Designed to support working families, enrichment classes are available after school and conclude at 4:05 p.m. Families may also enroll in the Right At School (RAS) program, allowing students to remain on campus until 6:00 p.m. Together, these programs provide a safe, familiar environment with academic support, enrichment, and meaningful connections for students.
Registration will be available Friday, August 7th at 12:00 PM. In the meantime, families may preview program options, schedules, and additional information below.
Dear BHUSD Families,
Thank you for your patience while our team worked with Aeries Support to resolve the technical issues affecting after-school enrichment registration.
We are pleased to share that registration will reopen tomorrow, Friday, August 7, at 12:00 p.m. through the Aeries Parent Portal. This message serves as the promised 24-hour advance notice to families.
Registration will continue to be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can visit er.bhusd.org/enrichment or hm.bhusd.org/enrichment to review class schedules, access the registration link, and view step-by-step instructions.
Families who successfully completed registration before enrollment was paused remain confirmed and do not need to register again.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued enthusiasm for the BHUSD After-School Enrichment Program.
Thank you,
BHUSD After-School Enrichment Program
UPDATE: Dear BHUSD Families,
We are aware of a technical issue affecting portions of the after-school enrichment registration process, including payment processing and the delivery of confirmation emails.
To ensure a fair and consistent registration experience for all families, BHUSD is temporarily pausing all enrollment for after-school enrichment courses while the issue is being resolved. Families will receive at least 24 hours’ advance notice before registration reopens.
Families who successfully completed registration before the pause remain confirmed and do not need to take any additional action.
Our team has contacted Aeries Support and is working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Once additional information is available, we will notify families directly through ParentSquare and post updates on our school enrichment websites.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and uncertainty this may cause. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thank you,
BHUSD After-School Enrichment Program

Refund Policy
Thank you for registering for the BHUSD After-School Enrichment Program. Because class sizes are limited and instructors are scheduled based on enrollment, the following refund policy applies to all program registrations.
Registration and Reserved Spaces
Registration is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. A student's space in a class is reserved upon successful registration and payment. Enrollment is limited, and space is not guaranteed until registration is complete.
To provide the best learning experience, classes serving multiple grade levels (such as TK-5) may be separated into grade-level sections based on enrollment.
Parent Cancellation Requests
- Refund requests submitted on or before August 21 are eligible for a full refund.
- No refunds will be issued after August 21, as your child's space is reserved upon registration and staffing and class planning are finalized.
- Once registration has closed and classes have begun, students may not switch classes.
- Please allow 2 weeks for processing the refund.
Program Cancellations
A full refund will be issued if:
- A class is canceled because minimum enrollment is not met.
- The After-School Enrichment Program cancels the class before it begins and no suitable alternative class is available.
When possible, families may be offered the option to transfer into another available class instead of receiving a refund.
School Closures and Emergency Cancellations
If school is canceled or dismissed early due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, the After-School Enrichment Program will also be canceled.
Refunds or credits for canceled classes will be determined by BHUSD based on the number of canceled sessions and the circumstances of the closure.
Instructor Cancellations
If a class must be canceled because of instructor illness or circumstances beyond the control of BHUSD or the program provider, families will be notified as soon as possible.
When feasible, a make-up class may be offered. If a make-up class cannot be provided, BHUSD may issue a prorated refund or program credit at its discretion.
Missed Classes
Refunds or credits are not provided for classes missed because of:
- Student absence
- Family vacations
- Illness
- Scheduling conflicts
- Voluntary withdrawal after the refund deadline
Student Dismissal
Students are expected to follow all school rules and behavioral expectations while participating in the After-School Enrichment Program.
Students dismissed from the program because of behavioral or disciplinary reasons are not eligible for a refund.
