New Assistant Principals at BHHS

The Beverly Hills Unified School District is pleased to make the following staff announcements:

Jeanne McCrea - Assistant Principal, Beverly Hills High School

Jeanne McCrea joins the Beverly Hills Unified School District after serving as Assistant Principal at Goleta Valley Junior High School in the Santa Barbara Unified School District. McCrea previously served as Assistant Principal at Santa Barbara High School, and as the Dean of Students for the Napa Valley School District.

A former science teacher, McCrea describes herself as a life-long learner whose favorite place to be is in school!

“I love working with kids, I love working with teachers and parents. I enjoy myself in my job everyday,” says McCrea, “There’s nothing better than improving yourself, your mind, and seeing the world in a new way!”

Christopher Regan - Assistant Principal, Beverly Hills High School

Christopher Regan is already a familiar face at Beverly Hills High School, where he taught Spanish this past school year. Regan previously served as Principal at Lone Hill Middle School in San Dimas, and as an Assistant Principal in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified and Las Virgenes Unified School Districts.

“Having grown up in the Los Angeles area, I know the outstanding reputation that BHHS and BHUSD have,” says Regan, “Principal Mark Mead and I have a similar philosophy, in that we both like to focus on student engagement and making every minute count. I am excited to join the administrative team and am looking forward to a great year!”

McCrea and Regan replace former BHHS Assistant Principals Mark Mead and Luke Pavone. Mead was recently named BHHS Principal, and Pavone is now serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources for BHUSD.
