BHUSD Students Receive Awards in PTA Reflections Contest

The 33rd District winners for the PTA Reflections contest have been announced. This year 8 BHUSD students received awards for their artwork. An impressive 4 of the 8 awards are for 1st place! Those 1st place winners' artwork now advances to the California State PTA Reflections level of judging.
The 8 students listed below will be recognized by the 33rd District for their achievement on Sunday, March 4th, 2pm at the Hawthorne Memorial Center, 3901 W. El Segundo Blvd, Hawthorne, CA 90250.
Also, please save the date for our own BHUSD PTA Council Reflections Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 5th, in the Beverly Hills High School Jon Cherney Lecture Hall, 6:30pm. The event features a gallery preview followed by the awards ceremony at 7pm. Over 40 BHUSD students will be recognized!
Thank you to everyone who supported and helped make this such a successful PTA Reflections Competition for our School District. A special thank you goes out to the PTA Reflections Committee Chairs at each school: Shannon Hunt (BHHS), Angeles Thomas & Ariana Bils (Beverly Vista), Robin Lanzer (El Rodeo), Shirley Chao (Hawthorne) and Kim Becker (Horace Mann).
