BHHS Senior Wins National Art Competition

Congratulations to BHHS Senior Christine Kim for winning 1st place overall in the Congressional Art Competition! Christine will receive $7000 in scholarships and her picture titled "Who's Manns?" will be featured in a gallery in the Capitol building in Washington D.C. for the next year.
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Students submit entries to their representative’s office, and panels of district artists select the winning entries. Christine will be among the winners recognized at the annual awards ceremony with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC.
Congratulations once again to Christine and our very proud BHHS Technical Arts Chair and Photography Teacher Tim Briggs!
