• Future Focused Schools Community Forum 1/10/18 Featured

  The Future Focused Schools Team and BHUSD Superintendent's Cabinet hosted two Community Forums on January 10th and 11th, 2018 at Beverly Hills High School. Superintendent Michael Bregy and Team members shared the process of the Team's work which began in October of 2017, to evaluate configuration possibilities for the BHUSD for the Board of Education to consider in January 2018. The Team has been charged with analyzing opportunities to deliver the best education possible for BHUSD students, in a manner that uses resources efficiently and is financially sustainable. Following the presentation seen here, community members at each night of the Forums then gathered in Conversation Rooms on the subjects of Teaching and Learning, Social Development, Finances and Facilities, to ask questions, offer input, and engage in meaningful dialogue regarding the successes and challenges of BHUSD's current configuration of four K-8 schools and one high school. The FFST will be using this input as it makes it recommendations to the Board regarding reconfiguration at a Special Board Meeting on January 23, 2018.
