Governor’s Executive Order Waives Physical Meeting Requirement during Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

As per Executive Order N-29-20 from Governor Newsom, the Beverly Hills Unified School District Finance Committee meetings will be virtual (hybrid).  Our normal mechanisms of publicizing recordings of each meeting will continue on the District's website at the Finance Committee's webpage.

The Finance Committee meetings will be physically held at the Beverly Hills Unified School District's District Office in the Boardroom and can also be viewed through Zoom.  Links for Zoom calls can be found on the Finance Committee Agenda as well as the Finance Committee's Meeting of Public Notice which is also posted on the main page of the District's website.

The purpose of the Governor’s executive order is to control the spread of Coronavirus (COVID19) and to reduce and minimize the risk of infection by “limiting attendance at public assemblies, conferences, or other mass events.”

The Governor’s executive order on March 12, 2020, already waived the requirement for a majority of Finance Committee members to physically participate in a public meeting at the same location.

If members of the public would like to contact the Finance Committee about the upcoming agenda, please do so by filling out Finance Committee Meeting - Public Comment Form (Click Link Here) at least 24  hours prior to the beginning of the scheduled meeting. These comments will be shared with the Finance Committee prior to the meeting. If you wish for your written comment to be read aloud, please indicate this specifically in the form. Requests for written comments to be read aloud will be honored, subject to the Finance Committees usual time limits on public comment.
