Enrolling in a new school can feel overwhelming sometimes, we are thrilled you have chosen to become a part of our BHUSD Community! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have a question or concern at [email protected]. Our Student Services Team is here to guide you through this process step by step. The main people you will speak with are Maria J Fernandez, Enrollment Center Supervisor, Benjamin Wardrop, Director of Student Services, and our team leader, Laura Collins-Williams, Assistant Superintendent, Student Services.
Citizenship: Do you need to be a citizen of the United States for my child to attend BHUSD?
Age Eligibility: What is your child’s date of birth? Are they old enough to start school?
Residency: Will you qualify to attend BHUSD? Where are you living/moving to? Which school will your child go to?
TK-12 Immunizations: Is your child fully immunized per State requirements?
Physical/Oral Assessment: Is your child entering TK/K/1st Grades?
TK/K: Is my child eligible to attend school yet? What is Universal TK?
Custody: Are you divorced/separated but share custody?
Transcripts: What grade will your child enter? It depends where you are moving from!
Student and Parent Handbooks: Do you have a Middle or High School Student?
Enrollment Document Checklist: You Must Submit All Of These Documents
If you require additional information about the required documents as listed below, please refer to the explanations above by clicking on the relevant heading.
- Student’s Birth Certificate or Passport (Birth Certificate Preferred)
- Parent’s Identification (Driver’s License, Passport)
- Lease (with children identified as occupants) or Property Taxes/Mortgage Statement
- Three Forms of Utility Bills including Edison. Utility bill connections are accepted for 45 days, then you must produce the initial bill. Eg. Gas, Internet, Water, Car Insurance, Phone, Bank.
- Proof of Immunization per State requirements as above.
- Academic Transcript or Last Report Card from previous school. Prior school records will be requested by the school site.
- Student IEP/504 documents, if applicable.
- GATE letter from previous district, if applicable.
- ELPAC/CELDT language test documentation, if applicable.
- If there is shared custody between parents, the legal custody agreement must be provided.
- If you work for BHUSD or Beverly Hills City Hall, Verification of Employment. Eg. Pay Stub, Letter from Employer and Interdistrict Transfer Release from your district of residence

- Drop them off in the Student Services Department located at 624 N Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 OR
- Email them to [email protected] Subject Line: Student’s Last Name, School Site, Grade Level.
