BHUSD is proud to announce our Summer Athletics Camps for rising 6th-12th graders. Taught by current BHUSD coaching staff, camps are designed to teach skills in each sport as well as proper conditioning and strength techniques. Athletes may sign up for more than one sport. Both middle school and high school camps will be held in the Beverly Hills High School Athletics area.
Open to all student-athletes, camps are fee-based, recreational, and entirely voluntary. Daily attendance supports athletic development but is not required. Participation in camps is not offered for credit and is not a prerequisite for equal access to participate in athletics during the school year. Enrollment in a summer athletic camp does not guarantee being on an athletic team. Not all sports offer a summer camp program. Camps are subject to cancellations due to low enrollment.
Dates: Monday-Friday, June 1-June 26 (No camp June 19)*
Times: Vary by sport (see schedule below)
*NOTE: Boys Soccer (BHHS/BVMS) will be held twice a day June 15-June 26 (no camp June 19). See schedule for times.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds.
Athletics Summer Camp Schedule
All students must be registered, paid, and cleared by the Athletics Office before the start of camp. Athletic Clearance is a process designed to ensure that all athletes are healthy for participation and that both parents and athletes understand the inherent risks that accompany athletics.
Students who have not been cleared to participate will be turned away from camp until the process is complete. No refunds will be offered for any dates missed due to athletic clearance.
Camp registration and payment must be completed before any student can participate in a camp.
STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE ALL STEPS OF THE ATHLETIC CLEARANCE PROCESS BEFORE PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Cost: $400.00 per camp
To Register:
Step 1: Complete Athletics Summer Camp Registration Form
Step 2: Complete Athletic Clearance
Step 3: Submit payment (see below)
Payments will be accepted by check only. Checks can be dropped off to Laura Mendoza in the BHHS Athletic Department or to Andi Barron in the Main Office at BVMS.
Checks must be made payable to:
Beverly Hills Unified School District
Please include the sport your student is enrolling in in the memo line.
Before submitting payment, all student-athletes must complete the 2026–2027 Athletic Clearance, which will open on April 15, 2026. Payment cannot be accepted until this clearance process has been completed.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds.
26/27 ATHLETIC CLEARANCE WILL OPEN ON APRIL 15, 2026.
To participate in any Athletics Summer Camp, all athletes must complete all steps of the clearance process. If you were cleared for the 25/26 school year, you must complete the 26/27 Athletic Clearance using the Home Campus website to participate in Athletics Summer Camp.
1. Log in or create an Athletic Clearance account for the student-athlete.
2. Complete and upload the required documents to the student's account in Athletic Clearance. Please select the Summer Camp option in Athletic Clearance, even if you play a different sport during the academic year.
Participation/Health History Form (completed by parent on Home Campus site)
Physical Exam Form (signed/dated by doctor. Physical Exams are valid for 1 year)
A copy of your Medical Insurance Card or proof of coverage from Myers-Stevens Insurance
Consent Confirmation Form (signed by athlete & parent)
NOTE: Once athletes are cleared for Athletics Summer Camp, they are conditionally cleared to participate in BVMS/BHHS Athletics for the entire school year, provided the physical exam form is valid. Athletic Clearance for seasonal sport athletes during the academic year will be subject to academic eligibility for final clearance.
We will be out of town for a few days of camp, can we still sign up?
Yes! While we do not prorate, we try to keep the cost of camp reasonable knowing families may have conflict. Please let your coach know which days your student will be absent.
We signed up for camp but are no longer able to attend. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds.
Can my child sign up for more than one camp?
Yes! We welcome students to register for multiple camps. Camps are scheduled with the best effort to limit conflicts.
Am I allowed to register once camp begins?
Yes! Students may register at any time, however, they will not be able to participate until they have completed the Athletic Clearance process (see above) and paid. Camps are not prorated for late registration.
What does my child need to bring to camp?
Athletes should wear sunscreen and clothes/shoes appropriate for their sport. Athletes should bring the necessary equipment for their sport and plenty of water. If you have specific questions, please contact John Braddell at [email protected] Steve Lawson at [email protected].
Where does my child go on the first day of camp?
All camps will be held at Beverly Hills High School. Students should meet their coaches in the appropriate location based on their sport: court sports will meet in the upstairs gym, field sports will meet on the football field, swimming will meet in the Swim Gym, and tennis will meet on the new upper courts (enter by Gate 1 - Moreno Dr & Durant Dr). Please ask the Security Guard on Moreno Dr. for directions.
My child will be absent from camp. Who do I contact?
Please reach out to your child's coach or email John Braddell [email protected] or Steve Lawson at [email protected].
My child was cleared to participate in Athletics last year. Do I need to complete Athletic Clearance again?
Yes! Athletic Clearance needs to be completed every year (starting in the summer).
Can I participate if I am not a BHHS/BVMS student?
Unfortunately this program is only extended to BHHS/BVMS students.
What happens if an athlete gets injured?
We have the BHUSD certified athletic trainer during all camp sessions to assess and support a student with an injury.
