The State of California has identified 15 Career Technical Industry Pathways.
Career Pathways organize classes and career information on a school campus. Students learn best when content is clustered by theme and is relevant to students’ interests. Sequenced courses provide a hands-on way to show ALL students the relationship between skills that they learn at school and a range of career options.
BHHS offers the following pathways, each of which is comprised of Introductory, Advanced, and Capstone level courses. Students in the pathways engage in project-based learning to master technical concepts, while attending competitions, earning industry certifications, hearing from guest speakers, experiencing work based learning experiences through which they can apply the concepts they have learned.
