Ballona WetLands Clean-Up (Multiple Grades)
The focus of this competition is to reduce waste on the school campus through conservation and recycling.

Deb Joseph's Advanced Computer Graphics Class created several new graphic designs for Beverly Hills High School.
Great American Smokeout (Middle School)
Ms. Mazor's 6th graders had the opportunity to sponsor and support someone they cared about to participate in the annual Great American Smoke Out, so they would not smoke for 24 hours.

Bryan Herbold's Life Science students are feeding the world! They have designed and cultivated a school garden at Beverly Hills High School.

Instrumental Music Ensembles (High School)
We currently have a 50 member string orchestra, a 71 member Band and a 35 member Symphonic Band. These students bring joy to the lives of community members through music.

Students at Beverly Hills High School have been participating in a Service-Learning project with the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society of Los Angeles for the past few years.
Preventing Domestic Violence (High School)
Students used their persuasive writing skills to write letters to elected officials about a need in the community.
Read Across America (Elementary School)
As part of the second-grade literacy standards, students participated in "Read Across America" Day.
School Lost and Found (Elementary School)
Ms. Revness' third grade El Rodeo students saw a "community need" in their school to organize the piles of clothing and student belongings in the Lost and Found.
Spanish Stories (High School)
BHHS has had a relationship with Albion Street Elementary School for many, many years through the annual Christmas Program where high school students entertain and give gifts to the elementary students. Lucie Hinden's Spanish 3 Honors class decided to further this relationship.
Tsunami Relief Fund (High School)
In response to the devastating Asian tsunami in December 2004, Beverly Hills High School decided to organize a school-wide Service-Learning project.
