Beverly Hills, CA (May 27, 2025) – The Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) is proud to launch Mrs. Marcus Meets, a new video series created and led by Board of Education President Mrs. Rachelle Marcus. This Board President initiative highlights the educators and staff who support the district’s mission of achieving educational excellence. In each episode, Mrs. Marcus visits a BHUSD campus to meet the people, both in the classroom and behind the scenes, who help students thrive every day. The series shines a light on the individuals who bring BHUSD’s core values to life: Excellence, Integrity, Wellness, Inclusion, Safety, and Community.

The first episode premiered today, May 27, at the BHUSD Board of Education meeting. It features Beverly Vista Middle School Musical Theatre teacher Dr. Fred Pinto, who brings energy, creativity, and care to the stage and inspires students to express themselves through the performing arts. Dr. Pinto reflects the BVMS motto: Unleashing Every Learner’s Potential.

There are so many people in our district who make a real difference every day, but not everyone knows who they are

- Board President Rachelle Marcus.

“This series is about introducing our community to the people who make BHUSD such a special place.” Episodes will continue throughout the year, showcasing staff across all BHUSD campuses. Watch the first episode at: bhusd.org/mrsmarcusmeets
