Beverly Hills, CA (June 1, 2025) – Beverly Vista Middle School marked a proud milestone on Thursday, May 29, as the Class of 2025 was honored at the annual 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony. In a celebration filled with gratitude, growth, and anticipation, the ceremony recognized students for their achievements throughout middle school and the meaningful moments that shaped their journey. From curious sixth graders to confident leaders, the BVMS Bulldogs have left an indelible mark on their school and community. “Returning to BVMS, where I first began my career as a math teacher, is the honor of a lifetime,” said Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss. “To stand here now and witness the strength, growth, and heart of this incredible class is profoundly moving. They’re ready for the next chapter, and I have no doubt they’ll meet it with courage and purpose.” The event featured student speakers, musical performances, and reflections from faculty and staff, all emphasizing the strength of community and the promise of the future. As they look ahead to becoming Normans, these Bulldogs carry with them the lessons, friendships, and values nurtured during their time at BVMS. Their journey is just beginning, and BHUSD can’t wait to see how far they’ll go.
BHUSD proudly congratulates the Beverly Vista Class of 2025 for their achievements, leadership, and spirit of excellence.
