BHHS Student Tara Kashfian to Attend UCLA, Majoring in Jewish Studies

Beverly Hills, CA (April 5, 2026) – Continuing our BHHS College Decisions Series, Beverly Hills High School is proud to announce that Tara Kashfian, a proud member of the Class of 2026, will be attending the University of California, Los Angeles. Tara will be studying Jewish Studies at one of the nation’s top public universities.

Tara’s journey with BHUSD began in kindergarten at El Rodeo Elementary School and continued through Beverly Vista Middle School to Beverly Hills High School, where she has distinguished herself as a dedicated scholar and engaged member of the school community. As an AP Scholar, she challenged herself with a rigorous academic program while maintaining a strong commitment to her studies.

Beyond the classroom, Tara has been a member of the BHHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team and has remained deeply connected to her community through her work with local synagogues, reflecting a strong sense of service and cultural engagement.

“Congratulations to Tara on her admission to UCLA,” said Judith Manouchehri, President of the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education. “Tara’s strong academic record, commitment to her school community, and consistent hard work reflect the high standards we strive for in BHUSD. We look forward to seeing her continued success in the years ahead.”

As Tara takes the next step in her journey, she carries with her the values of scholarship, service, and community that define what it means to live Today Well Lived.
