Beverly Hills, CA (March 14, 2026) – Continuing our BHHS College Decisions Series, Beverly Hills High School is proud to announce that Eliana Naydavood, a proud member of the Class of 2026, will be attending the University of California, Davis. Eliana will major in Animal Science at one of the nation’s leading universities for veterinary and agricultural studies.
Eliana’s journey with BHUSD began in kindergarten at Hawthorne, and throughout her years she has distinguished herself as a leader, scholar, and dedicated member of the school community. Her impact at Beverly Hills High School is especially evident through her four years of service in the Associated Student Body, culminating in her role as Student Body President. In ASB, Eliana helped lead and shape many of the school’s most meaningful campus events and initiatives, including pep rallies, bringing students together and strengthening school spirit across campus.
Alongside her leadership work, Eliana has also pursued a deep passion for science and animal care. She completed all courses in the Medical Science Academy and is currently enrolled in Biomedical Innovations, the program’s capstone course. She also serves as co-president of BHHS Paws for a Cause, a club dedicated to supporting and advocating for animals. Outside of school, she volunteers at a veterinary clinic, gaining hands-on experience as she prepares for a future career in veterinary medicine.
“Eliana exemplifies the spirit of leadership and compassion that defines our BHHS community,” said Loan Sriruksa, Principal of Beverly Hills High School. “From leading the student body to pursuing her passion for animal care and science, she has made a meaningful impact on campus. We are excited to see all that she will accomplish at UC Davis and beyond.”
“Congratulations to Eliana, our outstanding Student Body President, on her admission to a University of California campus,” said Judith Manouchehri, President of the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education. “Eliana truly exemplifies the values we strive to cultivate in the Beverly Hills Unified School District: academic excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to her school community, and we could not be more proud of her achievement.”
As Eliana takes the next step in her journey, she carries with her the values of leadership, service, and curiosity that define what it means to make Today Well Lived.
