Beverly Hills, CA (May 30, 2026) – Beverly Hills High School celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 on Friday, May 29, at the Nickoll Field. Surrounded by family members, friends, educators, alumni, and community leaders, graduates marked the culmination of their high school journey and the beginning of a new chapter.
Centered around the theme, The Places You Will Go, the commencement ceremony reflected on the experiences, relationships, and achievements that shaped the graduating class while looking ahead to the opportunities that await them. The program featured remarks from student leaders Elijah Tishbi, Eliana Naydavood, Charlotte Kaveh, and Delara Yektafar, as well as performances by the Beverly Hills High School Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Madrigals. The ceremony also included remarks from Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education President Judith Manouchehri and the formal presentation of the Class of 2026 by Beverly Hills High School Principal Loan Sriruksa.
“Today, the Class of 2026 becomes part of the Beverly Hills High School tradition forever,” said Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education President Judy Manouchehri. “While their paths may lead them in different directions, they leave Beverly Hills High School with the courage to move forward, the confidence to lead, and the values that will guide them wherever life takes them. Their roots will always be here, and our community will always be proud to call them Normans.”
The Class of 2026 distinguished itself through achievement across academics, athletics, visual and performing arts, career pathways, student leadership, service learning, and extracurricular programs. Graduates earned recognition through organizations and programs, including the California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society, California State Seal of Biliteracy, Golden State Seal Merit Diploma, SkillsUSA, DECA, Robotics, and numerous other academic and extracurricular honors.
“As our graduates begin the next chapter of their lives, they carry with them the knowledge, experiences, and values that have been cultivated throughout their time in Beverly Hills Unified,” said Dr. Alex Cherniss, Superintendent of Beverly Hills Unified School District. “Wherever their journeys lead, we are confident they will continue to lead with character, purpose, and compassion. We congratulate the Class of 2026 and look forward to seeing the extraordinary places they will go.”
As the newest members of the Beverly Hills High School alumni community, the graduates of the Class of 2026 now join a tradition nearly a century in the making. Their accomplishments have left a lasting mark on Beverly Hills High School, and their contributions will continue to shape the story of the school for years to come.
While commencement marks the end of one chapter, it also marks the beginning of countless others. For the Class of 2026, the places ahead are unwritten, the possibilities are endless, and the future is theirs to define.
