Beverly Hills, CA (March 6, 2025) – The Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) remains committed to providing an enriching educational experience for students and ensuring that all district programs align with our mission of academic and creative excellence.
As part of this commitment, BHUSD confirms that Mr. Romeo Carey has returned to his role as an instructor for KBEV, the district’s student-run broadcast journalism program. While his reinstatement comes after a period of administrative review, the district’s primary focus remains on supporting students and fostering a productive learning environment.
“We are committed to ensuring the continued success of our students in all academic and extracurricular programs,” said BHUSD Board President Rachelle Marcus. “KBEV has a long history of excellence, and we look forward to seeing our students thrive as they continue their work in journalism, media production, and broadcasting.”
Moving forward, BHUSD will continue to work with all faculty, students, and stakeholders to maintain a structured, professional, and student-focused learning environment. Our goal is to provide KBEV students with the resources, mentorship, and educational integrity necessary to prepare them for careers in media and beyond.
