
Beverly Hills, CA (March 25, 2025) – The Beverly Hills High School Academic Decathlon team earned first place in Division III at the California Academic Decathlon State Finals, held March 20–23 in Santa Clara. Competing in person against 54 teams from across the state, the BHHS team showcased extraordinary skill, dedication, and academic excellence. This marks the school’s highest placement since 2013, when the team earned 5th place overall in Division I at the state level.
Throughout the multi-day competition, students were tested across ten rigorous subjects, delivered prepared and impromptu speeches, participated in interviews, and competed in the high-energy SuperQuiz. In addition to their team victory, BHHS decathletes brought home a number of standout individual achievements:
