Beverly Hills, CA (May 19, 2025) – The BHUSD Communications Department is proud to announce a new social media series designed to connect current students with accomplished alumni who share their career interests.

This initiative celebrates the district’s commitment to honoring alumni legacies while elevating student voices. In each episode, a BHUSD student is paired with an alum working in a related field. Together, they engage in meaningful conversations, sharing advice, experiences, and inspiration, which will premiere on BHUSD’s official social media channels. The first episode features Beverly Hills High School student Gunnar Walmsley and alumna Antonia Carlotta, a film historian and niece of Universal Studios co-founder Carl Laemmle. Their shared passion for film history and storytelling sets the tone for the series, highlighting the power of mentorship and connection across generations. This episode and more are coming soon.

“By spotlighting shared passions across generations, this series captures what makes BHUSD truly exceptional, students who dream big and alumni who’ve paved the way,” said Colby Gilardian, BHUSD Communications Media Specialist. “It’s about seeing yourself in someone who once walked your same halls.”

Produced in collaboration with the Beverly Hills High School Alumni Association and BHHS Broadcast Production students, this project reflects the district’s values of excellence, mentorship, and community connection. Alumni interested in being featured are invited to email [email protected] to get involved.
