Beverly Hills, CA (February 14, 2026) - The Beverly Hills Unified School District proudly celebrates the Beverly Hills High School Girls Soccer Team for its victory in Round One of the CIF Southern Section playoffs against Knight High School, advancing the Normans to the next stage of competition.

The California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section, known as CIF, governs postseason high school athletics across the region and represents the highest level of interscholastic competition in Southern California. Earning a playoff victory at this level reflects not only athletic skill, but discipline, preparation, and composure under pressure.

From the opening whistle to the final minute, the Normans competed with focus and cohesion. Months of training and collective commitment translated into a confident performance that showcased both technical execution and team unity.

“What stands out about this group is their standard,” said Dr. Alex Cherniss, Superintendent of Beverly Hills Unified School District. “They prepare with intention, they support one another, and they rise to the moment. This victory reflects the culture of excellence our students build every day at Beverly Hills High School.”

The team’s advancement marks an important milestone in their postseason journey and highlights the strength of BHHS athletics. As the Normans continue in CIF, the Beverly Hills community stands behind them with pride and anticipation.

At Beverly Hills Unified School District, we remain committed to Educational Excellence, ensuring that students thrive both in the classroom and in competition.
